Bid-Well 4800 Roller Paver

The Bid-Well 4800 automatic roller paver is now capable of achieving paving widths of 200 ft. When paving beyond 150-ft. wide, the frame is constructed with proprietary ultrahigh-strength steel that is nearly 120% stronger, yet weighs slightly less than the conventional steel used in the company's pavers. Beefier, ultrahigh-strength steel gussets and larger 1.5-in. crown bolts help to prevent truss deflection. The Rota-Vibe system delivers up to 5,000 vpm over the vibrating rollers' length to reconsolidate the top 2 in. of concrete. To help keep the paving carriage assembly moving freely along the frame, the drive is supported by a dual-chain hanger system.
